This might be seen as controversial…But nowadays, it seems that the only car manufacturer that makes attractive and affordable cars is Vauxhall. You might think of this as odd, but think about it. 
The Astra, the Insignia, the Corsa, the Zafira, the Antara, the Meriva, and even the Agila…All attractive cars. Apply that to all other family-car makers. Ford? Well have you seen the Kuga? It’s a real dog. Renault used to have it nailed, but the new Clio (2009 model), whilst a good car, is hardly pretty. Citroen has just, gone mental. The only vaguely handsome car they now sell seems to be the C5 (There might be others). Volkswagen are about there, but the Touran is blander than paper. So there we have it, well done Vauxhall!
I have to disagree mate. Have you SEEN the Kia Soul? Its sexy, yet costs between 11 and 15 grand. The Samba model is awesome with it's sound system, mood lights and red beauty! Still, I agree with you on everything else.

The Kia Soul is quite nice, in a bold statement sort of way. Though it does look a bit Nissan Cube, Honda Element-ish. If you get what I mean?
...And as for the Clarkson thing, well Clarky HATES Vauxhall, I'd say I could be the next may ;)
