I got another new game the other day, GTA IV, or 4 to people who can't read Roman numerals. When we first got it, the disc didn't work but it seems to be alright so far now we've had it repaired.

Ford Transit...
Few objects have reached the point of popularity in which they're referred to by their brand-name...You don't want a 'vacuum cleaner' you want a Hoover. You don't want an MP3 player, you want an 'iPod', and you don't want a van...You want a Transit!
Eyjafjallajoekull...?
That Icelandic volcano erupted recently. It's disrupted ALL flights to an from the UK, and is causing wide spread flooding after many glaciers melted. It must be really bad if it's causing planes to stop in England, not just Iceland...Bad times. The planes are grounded until at the very least 6.00pm, and I can imagine it's going to cause many problems for holiday makers.
Fiat 500 Abarth
I have a lot of time for the Fiat Abarth 500...The regular 500 seems to be 'the handbag of the car-world' but the Abarth is cool, quick, and quirky. It also looks much more professional than the regular 500...what a beast...!

Last Term Tomorrow
Well, we've just had 2 weeks off 6th form. Go back tomorrow! I really can't be arsed to go though, partly because this 2 weeks has been one of the best I've had so far! I've spent around 7 nights with Megan...and about 10 days! Good times. I can't really fault this holiday, at all! Been to Sheffield, put on far to much weight and lots of other stuff. Though the best stuff by far was seeing Megan...

Pictures up. Car cleaned.
Yesterday after getting home from Megan's house I decided to put ALL the pictures from my phone onto my Laptop. There were several hundred! All from different times too!
I also cleaned the Subaru today! So now it's all nice and shiny! Great! I had been asked to for several months, but the weather hasn't been good enough really. Took a few photos of the car too.

Immigration.
I also, would like you to know I'm not racist, and some of my very good friends are from ethnic backgrounds, even my granddad came from Ukraine.
And I do not support the views of the BNP or Nick Griffin. I do not wish for any immigrants to get sent to their home countries.
But, there's one little thing that gets on my nerves about illegal immigrants. If they're let into the country, to then start reaping benefits of the benefit system in England, how are we going to make that money back? We're just spending more money funding yet another family which means less tax-payer money for other important services, like health, and the Police.
It is now reported that 5 out of every 10 immigrants into the UK have no VISA, no passport, no ID. And that's bad! So, how do they get into England?
Well, this starts off with the Italian Mafia. They run a massive human trafficking operation over the sea in their high powered, high speed ships. Their faster and more modern than the Italian Police ships, so can outrun them. These immigrants are taken from the ships, and places in the back of lorries in Italy, and moved out all the way through France to the channel tunnel. Then, they're in England. Hey presto, they're ready to work.
Businesses thrive on these low-paid immigrants, who can do jobs for a fraction of the price.
I don't think these illegal immigrants should be forced out of the country. No, they're here now, and it is against their human rights. However I do think they all should be given VISA's, passports and an identity, and then made to work for at the least minimum wage. They can pay taxes then. It makes life better for everyone. Security should be improved, 'cause then all immigrants would have a VISA, passport and an identity already.
Like I said, I'm not racist by far, I just want a better life for everyone, no matter what colour, nationality or race!

Pole Shifts in 2012?!
There's evidence that such a thing could happen soon, the continents are moving slowly...
In fact, at one point much of England was under the ocean!
Sounds fun? No. If this did happen there would be Armageddon. Massive Earthquakes would occur...Volcanoes would explode, and they would be HUGE, and very, very big Tsunamis would happen, causing widespread flooding, and then this water would freeze at the new North and South Poles, where ever this may be.
Much like that film, The Day After Tomorrow.
But, don't worry, these Pole Shifts take millions of years to occur. So it's not like they'll happen in our lifetime, or our children, or our children's children etc...

End of the road?
Earlier I got asked by my teacher if I wanted to resit the exams I'd failed. I said no. If I did, by June I'd have to take 8 exams. My teacher said that if I didn't resit my exams, I wouldn't get an overall grade for Law, so really there was no point in carrying on the subject.
In the end, I've failed Law 3 times already. If I haven't passed by now, I very much doubt I'll ever pass...I'm going pretty much nowhere. It's just an extra burden on me as a whole. Plus, the whole subject is getting me down now. Perhaps it is better to call it a day. Leave it be, and just study other things. I've got my college course next year, so it's not like I'm going to lose out by dropping it. I suppose we'll have to see what my mentor says tomorrow!

The unmovable man
I went to the tip with my dad. I'd cleaned my bedroom and had lots of things that needed taking, including an old TV, and 10 metres of telephone wire.
Whilst I was there, I saw a man. He didn't move, or talk. Just stared. I found this really odd. I got closer an closer, wondering why he didn't actually say anything! I got even closer. Still he didn't move. It took me absolutely ages to realise he wasn't actually a real person. It was a mannequin! Bad times!

Results day!
I got my results for my Janurary A2 6th form exams earlier. I did terribly to be quite honest.
Law: 3 U’s
ICT: U
Sociology: D
Whilst I did badly, I’ve got to be honest I’m not entirely bothered by it. I mean, what is the worst that would happen? I know what job I want, a place in the Police Force (for which there are no grade boundaries). I’ve already been accepted into college on a Public Services course next year too. So, even though I’ve not passed my A-Levels, all hope is not lost. There’s life after exams.
In fact, the only thing I’m slightly annoyed at, is that I’ve spent 2 years doing this course at 6th form, and have come out of it all with no real grades. Yeah sure, there’s life after exams but it sure doesn’t help that I’ve spent 2 years of my life doing nothing of importance.
In the end though, I can’t join the police properly until I’m 21, and I’ll be 20 when I finish my college course…Plus I’ve been getting EMA so I can still see Megan every week. It’s win-win really…! Anyway, anything that you do adds to you as a person.

Boredom
It's incredibly annoying though...I'll try and do a drawing, or go on the Xbox, or on MSN and just find myself getting really annoyed, simply because I'm bored constantly!
Doesn't help I'm not very adventurous when it comes to my interests though. Part of me wishes it was the older days, when I was little. Then I could play for hours on end with my toy-cars on the carpet or in the back garden.
Speaking of playing outside, I wish it was warmer. I can't go out often or too late recently, it's been far too cold! So I've got to be cooped up inside to keep warm, either that or freeze to death outside!
I suppose really our only hope is that it warms up sometime soon by quite a lot, then I can go out, take photos, hang out with friends, etc...And all will be good with the world.

Money
I just checked the National Rail website. Currently, I'm spending £12 per ticket to get down to my Girlfriends house...I thought it may be cheaper to get a season-ticket for a year...Boy was I wrong.
If I go down there every week, for 1 whole year I'll be spending £624 on the train journeys. That's at least...However..If I buy a season ticket, I'll pay £1,800 for a whole year! I'll lose well over £600!
I thought, what If I get a rail-card. They cost about £26, but save me 1/3rd on rail prices...Which over 1 year means I'll save £208...SO, I'll only be spending around about £416 a year...Not too bad, if I do say so myself! Think of what I could do with an extra £208!!

Heavy Rain?
Wikipedia said... "The player interacts with the game by performing actions highlighted on screen related to motions on the controller, and in some cases, performing a series of quick time events during fast-paced action sequences..."
Is it me, or does that sound like every game? I'm confused by this...Very confused.
Car crash?
"My cousin was at a junction, not over the line, when his car was hit from the side by another car which must have been travelling at about 100mh...It caused my cousin's to flip over 3 or 4 times. The other guy just backed away and drove off. In court the other guy said he liked smashing peoples cars..."
Can you spot them? Well, a.) If he wasn't over the line he couldn't have been hit at a junction, unless the other idiot was travelling on the pavement!
b.) If the other guy had crashed into another car at 100mph, both of them would have been killed. No if's and's or but's. They'd be dead.
c.) It wouldn't flip the other car. And definitely not more than once. The frame would have bended, the entire chassis would have been completely mangled, but it wouldn't have flipped. There was no way for the car to become airborne in such an event. NO way.
d.) Just saying the rest was true up until now (It isn't), the other car couldn't have 'driven' away. It does take a lot to destroy a car, but it wouldn't be so much destroyed as obliterated. There'd be barely a recognisable car left! At a combined speed of 100mph between too Trucks Mythbusters found that the car had almost been pancaked.
So, if you'd like to tell us the real story? Please, go ahead!
Why do I hate...Tuesdays?!
...I can go and watch TV, but have you seen daytime TV? I'd rather shoot myself in the feet, to be perfectly honest.
Wednesday's are better, at least it doesn't hide the fact that I'll be at school till 1.25pm
And Thursdays are best....I don't have anything in the afternoon...Just a lesson in the morning! On the bright side though, at least the weather outside is really nice...So you can tell it's Spring ;)

1994 BMW 5 Series
I've seen them in many differing films, most notably Ronin, where it was the 'bad-guys' car. It ended up getting a tad-bit destroyed.
Nowadays the Beemer, is a very cheap car. I can see why in some respects, but I still do love them to bits. I wouldn't mind getting one at some point after I've passed my driving test...
SPRING
In other news, it's only 10 days til I get my A-Level results! I'm kind of looking forward to it now I think about it!
Also, it's only just under 3 weeks til Megan's birthday!

Scrappage Scheme
Okay, I know it's an old scheme, but I'm going to comment on it anyway!
I really don't get the Governments new scrappage scheme. Sure, they pay £2,000 towards the cost of your new car, for your old one, but why?!
Firstly, the people who, in this financial climate, can afford a new car don't tend to own one that is more than 10 years old. It seems pointless if most of the target market don't qualify for the money off.
What if, someone who is in the market for a new car, finds an old one for about £500, then has it scrapped for the £2,000? Well, the government got sneaky, and said that the previous owners, had to own the doomed car for more than 1 year. What's the likely-hood that the owners of a car more than 10 years old would have owned it for more than a year?
Secondly, the cars being scrapped must have tax, and an MOT. So, these cars being crushed are fine? Why would you scrap a car that's in good condition, and has a few years left? It actually has a negative effect on the economy, as the price of used cars is going up!
The idea of the scheme was to encourage people to buy new cars, which means more money for the people, who already have money...And to save the environment...Which is as much bullshit as the idea of 'Global Warming' itself...
The entire process of creating a car creates more pollution than running a used car for the rest of it's life cycle.
Another reason I hate the scheme is more of a sentimental one. If you owned an old Porsche 944, or Fiat Coupe, and you've been trying to sell it for a long time, when someone offers you £2,000 for it, you'd take their hands off. But would you feel comfortable knowing your classic car was destined to be crushed into a small cube. Then shredded into fist-sized chunks? I can't see how someone could do that to a modern-classic. Really..
So the new scheme is just bollocks? Yeah!
Le Saboteur
I've been pretty much hooked on my new game, The Saboteur for a few weels now. My parents barely see me any more, I'm pretty sure they think I might have died...In all fairness, the game is actually, really, really good. But, a little things do bother me about it. Not enough to ruin the game-play though.
Because the developers ran into financial trouble whilst creating the game, it comes to an overly abrupt end. No real conclusions to anything. It all seems a little cold towards the end. Now, this isn't a big problem, unless you were hoping the game lasted a little longer, (which I was) but as things go, I suppose we'll just have to live with it. The ending is still quite climactic, but a cliff hanger ending? In a game?
Secondly, trains. They're literally invincible. After throwing all you have, including a few old-timey RPG's, at them they're still perfectly fine! Why Pandemic?! Or more, how, can a train stay in perfect condition even when faced with a large explosion? It's all rather odd...There are a few other little things, but none of the problems in this game are bad enough to warrant me to think of it in any less of a good way!

6 months of Nokia
Today, I've had my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for 6 whole months. I've never had any real problems with it either. A few small little annoyances, but that's just about it.
The camera is good, but it seems to be a lot worse in dark situations, though in most situations it seems to think that it is adequately dark enough to need the flash. Other than that, it serves me just great!
Hopefully well enough to serve me for the next year and a half...Though, I will need to get a new stylus for my phone...I lost mine!

Lights...Camera...Action!
I've seen a few really good films lately, but by far the best, recent film I've seen was L.A. Confidential. It was really good. Watching Die Hard 4.0 let me forget myself a fair bit too...
Bruce Willis is a good actor though. He can play a pretty good 'tough guy' role, without going overboard...Usually.
Robert De Niro is also a really good actor. He always seems to play the 'Italian American Gangster' though. He fits the role well though, just his style I suppose. He was good in Ronin.
I have been quite immersed in something lately. It was that game I bought, The Saboteur. I've played through it twice since I bought it, which was about 2 weeks ago! Feels unreal really. I mean, that's one play through a week, and I'm on my third time around! Yes, I know. I'm sad.

So, not long, and then Linux will be back. Part of me will miss Windows 7 though.

Bullseye!
Now then. I had a really, really good weekend with Megan again, but it was very, let's just say, weird.
To start off the weirdness, my EMA hadn't gone into my bank account, kind of annoying really. I did have enough money to go to Nottingham, where I met up with Megan again though. Whilst there, it did feel reminicant of the very first time I met her, seeing as Nottingham Train Station was where we had first met.
Then, we got on the train bound for Leicester. This is where things got REALLY weird. Our conducter cracked a few jokes at our expense to start off with. "I've never seen Brothers and Sisters so close!" was one, then, for nearly no reason at all, he did a 'magic' card trick on us. We were both thinking "What the hell? Go away, this is awkward mate!"
Then, in Leicester, I went to what is possibly the most 'posh' up-market cinema ever. 'Cinema Du-Lux' it was called. A bit, well a lot OTT, but otherwise nice.
After, being vaugely horrified, and crying in laughter, it was time to go home. Big shame. But my day hadn't finished getting weirder. On the Leicester station platform a random man came upto me, and gave me a survey to fill in and hand back to him. I had to wonder why he picked me for the survey, and not another one of the 100+ people at the station. I filled it in nonetheless.
When I pulled into Woodhouse, I was greeted with 2 things. A.) Snow, quite alot of it. Odd, seeing as in Syston it'd all melted. And B.) 4 fire-engines, putting out a fire only about 100 metres up the road. What an odd sight I thought. Not the normal type of thing to be greeted with at home. Not even sure what was on fire, to be quite honest.
When I finally got home, mum and dad had made a very, very odd purchase. Any ideas? No. Well, they'd randomly gone out, and bought a dart-board. Riiiiight.
What a strange weekend! Had a great time though :)

The Sabotuer
On Friday, I went to Gamestation, and bought a brand new game. The Saboteur. It's really, really good.
I've got the Xbox 360 version, and it cost a whopping £35.00, alot for someone who barely has any money. Worth every penny though.
It's set in Nazi Occupied Paris, in 1939. You play an ex-race car driver/mechanic named Sean. You basically just play the game through his own eyes, helping people who wish to rid the city of Nazi's, or at least get rid of their own problems regarding the Krauts.
The replay value though is immense. The city is huge, and in all likely hood you'll never be able to rid the city entirely of all the Sniper-posts, officers, tanks, etc. Though you can try!
Also, the graphics, whilst done in a 'cartoonish' style are also very good. Very detailed. One of the best games I've played in a good long time.
Valentines day
Valentines day has now been and gone. It was my first with Megan. It was an amazing day, I gave her a little necklace, made from White Gold. It also had a little diamond inside. It was meant to be about £116, though because of the sales, it was £61. I also got her a copy of her favourite film, Chicken Run.
She got me a Titanium Ring. It's really nice, as well as a scrap-book, much like the one I made, and a big-card.
A pretty good day all-in-all!

Movies!
There are a few things I've never understood about these movies where 'national security' is threatened though.
Firstly, the bad guys are always middle aged men, who are rich and have a shit load of money. But, what would they gain by being a terrorist? If lowering the stock market is what they need, well, after they've 'stolen' all the money they'll have trouble using it. It'd be devalued.
Secondly, they usually always create an inordinate amount of carnage. I mean, really? What would be the point of using a truck or series of large explosives to demolish a building? By filling out the correct forms and hacking the correct computers they could probably do it with an actual demolition team...And using a truck to take out anything smaller than a Chevrolet Suburban? You could get the same effect from using a large van...
Hell, an old Caprice will only put you back a few hundred dollars. It just doesn't make sense...

I got a place there. An 'unconditional' offer which means I've got a place, and don't need to worry about my GCSE grades, seeing as I've already got them.
The course looks quite good. Go places, like Army Barracks, and RAF bases, etc...
It seems a little strange about how things have changed, career wise these last few months.
It was only about 4 or 5 months ago that I was at the RAF careers office, and now I'm going to college next year. I suppose we'll just have to see what the next step is...

Seventeen....And a half!
That means in 1 week, it will be mine and Megan's 6 month anniversary!
In other news, I went on Fallout 3 for the first time in ages today. I enjoyed it. I'd not played the game for over a month, quite a while really, yet it's still an amazing game, one of the best I've ever played. More than enough to keep me hooked. I would invest in getting a new game soon, but unfortunately I can't afford it as of yet.
Though tomorrow, I should get my EMA bonus. I really hope I do. I don't want to be waiting around for it like a douche. That wouldn't be good, at all!

I need a new TV
I might go and see if I can pick up a cheap second hand one at some point. I know I can't afford a new one, for sure. Walking past a second-hand shop earlier I saw a cheap one, it was only £20, not sure if it was any good though. Have to find out at some point...
Also, earlier I saw Katy today, for the first time in what was over 6 months. It was quite a good day out, and I saw what I should get for Megan's Valentines day present. Though, I suppose I can't really say what it was on here ;)
It occured to me the other day, Tomorrow I'm exactly 17 and a half.
Odd to think about, but oh well.

Cinema
Though, there are loads of new films that might be fun to watch. I've heard great reviews of Avatar, and Daybreakers.
Problem is though, I can't afford the cinema. I can't waste money on films and such. I've got to save money, for seeing Megan, getting her a present, etc etc. I'll just have to see what happens soon!

Contemplating.
Don't you just hate it when no matter how hard you try with someone, no matter how much effort you put into them, no matter how many hours you spend pining over them, and heeding their every word, they never ever return your gestures. When they do, it hurts. A lot, More anything.
Every single day I wait, I think. I say nice things, I do nice things, I do everything to make people happy, yet it's still not enough. Sometimes, I even wonder if they think about me when I'm gone. When I'm not there, do I exist to them? I doubt it. Certainly seems like I don't.
People can say they care all they like. They can act like every single thing they do is someone, in some sort of 'psycho-drum' benefiting you, or that they do care and try their best. But sometimes, their 'best' just doesn't seem like they're even trying. If they are going to say they care, then surely they should act like I matter, even in the slightest.
Not once have I let someone down. Not once have I tried to hurt someone, or not done what they wanted me to, yet it always seems that when I want something to happen, or for them to do something it just doesn't happen. Why can't it? Or am I not worth the time or effort any more? Who the fuck knows.

I've been going to bed later, and waking up later in the day. It's not good really. On some days, I go to sleep later, and wake up early, or on time. Meaning I'm loosing out on sleep all round...It's not good, at all. Ah well. I suppose I can only try to make it right again.
1 exam to go!
In other news, I've gotten waaay to interested in the Explosm.net comic, 'Cyanide and Happiness'...It's really, very, very great!
Ah the wonders of the internet. So much, yet we're always bored, haha!

Chill!
There is alot more to life than exams, and there certainly is more enjoyment to be had when you're not stressing yourself out over them.
Think for 5 minutes. What is the worst case scenario? The worst thing that could happen if you fail an exam? It's hardly like your family will be shot, or killed. I very much doubt your house would catch fire. In fact, the worst case scenario is this. You resit the exam. Big deal. Life goes on. It's unlikely that I'm going to pass anything this year. But I feel safe in the knowlege that, no matter how badly I do, as long as I try, I'll be fine. I can go to college next year, get a good grade there, or even a mediocre grade and still go far.
People forget that some of the most influential people in the world came out of school with no grades.
My old maths teacher was dyslexic. He failed his maths GCSE. And look at him now...
So, it still begs the question as to why people are fretting over exams this year. I can see why they might be a little anxious, but worrying to the point at which they are ill? Is that going to help? I very much doubt it.
So what did I do in my last Sociology Lesson before my exam? I chilled out. I took a leaf from everyone elses book for once. I drew a few pictures, and flicked through my text book. If I fail tomorrow, I fail. Big deal. Live with it.

Blast from the past
The other day I cleaned my room, and for reasons I’m still not entirely sure about, I broke my Xbox 360. The wire that connects it to my TV is broken. Well, I’ve ordered another but still have to wait for it to come.
In the mean time, I’ve dusted off my original Xbox, and played on that instead. Great fun! I got this one in 2004 as a replacement for my older one that I broke, though I got that one in 2002…
Today I played on Driver: Parallel Lines…I used to play on this game, ALOT, but now it seems I rarely touch it. Hell, I’m sure I’ve not played it in over a year! It’s fun though…Wish some of my other old games worked, like Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction…

The advancement of science
Then, I had a better idea.
What should be done is that all scientists, either from the world, or just the western world should unite and form a union, sort of. This union could be sub-divided into many different catagories, such as Cancer Research, Casual Research (For things designed souly to make us happy), Automotive, Aeronautical, Other health, etc...
Therefore there would be more scientists working in conjunction with one another, helping eachother out, and it is far more likely that things would be resolved better with more scientists working together.
Funding wouldn't be a problem either. It could come from both the governments taxes which, a large amount is used on research anyway, and then could recieve extra help from charitable donations. Therefore, we'd have many scientists working on a large number of differing persuits, and we'd have a lot of funding for these persuits.
It might work. I doubt it'd ever become a reality though.
Exams.
Last year I did so badly in my AS-Level exams I've been forced to take resit exams. I really can't be arsed with my exams. They're so boring. I also quite honestly don't really care if I pass or fail. If I can get at least one pass, even an E i'll be a happy man. If not, ah well, it's not the end of the world.
I've always thought exams were a terrible way to test people. What is the point of staying at school pretty much a whole year, just to sum up all you learnt in an hour and a half? And it can be on anything in that subject? Well, that's a load of bollocks. I think an easier system will be to have a series of smaller tests more often, so that the full knowlege of the student can be expressed. Not the half-assed, stressed, rushed essays that are handed in through exams.
Coursework is better, but i still think my idea is the best one.
If i say so myself...

The Shawshank Redemption
This has to be one of my favourite films. It’s so inspirational. One of those epic movies. It’s amazing how such an experience can change a man. And how such an experience can be endured. The movie itself might be several hours long, but it’s still amazing.
It’s just brilliant. A film I can watch over and over, without ever getting bored.
I like films like that and Forrest Gump. A lot!

Forrest Gump
This is actually an amazing film. One of the best I’ve seen, ever. Makes you think, a little, really. If it’s a tad unrealistic, though parts of it have that gritty realism that only a film based on multiple generations can express.
Parts of it are very inspirational. It also makes you think “Hey, all is not lost.” Some scenes are anyway. Like the one where he saves his army-buddies from the jungle. Only if you try can you do something.
As well as that it’s got one of the best soundtracks to a film ever. Very fitting for a film that is based over several generations.

A whole new decade…
It’s hard to believe a new decade has arisen…It’s also hard to believe that one has just passed. So much has happened these last 10 years. It’s amazing really.
2000 – I remember where I was on New years eve, 1999. I was at the house I’m living in now, at a party. I didn’t live here then though. I lived in Bilsthorpe. I can’t really remember much about that year really. Though it was the last year I lived in Bilsthorpe. I’m pretty sure that same year was the ‘Foot & Mouth’ scare.
2001 – Everyone remembers 2001. Simply for 9/11. It was a bad year really. I moved here that year too. In July, a few months before the world trade centre fell. Other than that, I can’t remember that year very well. Then again, I turned 9 that year, so I wouldn’t really…In December though, I cut my arm open. Right to the bone. Still got the scar too.
2002 – 2002…The year Microsoft released their Xbox. I got one that Christmas. I turned 10 that year too. Good times! I also got into year 6 at school. Which would have been my final year at Primary School. In September of 2002, we went on my first holiday abroad. It was to Majorca. A island off the Spanish coast. Fun Times. It’s also the same year we bought our “new” car….A 1994 Citroen ZX Avantage, and scrapped our old one, a 1982 Nissan Sunny. What a year.
2003 – Possibly one of the best years of the decade. 2nd behind 2009. I got into Manor, my comprehensive school. I had a best friend, Greg, who I’d known since 2001/2002 ish, and at first, I loved it. I could walk home on my own, freedom at last! I thought it’d be scary. It wasn’t. I got a phone then, my first. A Sony Ericsson T-610. I actually loved that phone. In December of 2003, we went to Florida. It was the best holiday of my entire life. I’ve never before or since had so much fun. We saw so much, did so many things. If I had the chance to go back, just for a day, I would. In no time. In the news, things did happen. But nothing major, I don’t think. But I was 11….Like I cared about the news.
2004 – This was an odd year. I can’t really remember exactly what happened. It was disappointing to go back to school after such an amazing holiday though. I moved into year 8 in this year. I thought I was the big-man.
2005 – I moved into Year 9 in this year. It was a fun time. Mum and Dad also got their new car. A 1999 Audi A4. Also, my cousin, Elliot was born. I was amazed when it happened. Really I was. But, then there were the July bombings in London. We’d had our first terrorist attack. Bad times. Very bad times…I did, however, discover Mercenaries in this year. An addiction I’ve not been able to get rid of since. What an amazing game. One of those I can actually say has changed my life.
2006 – I made a big choice this year. What my options would be. I chose, Applied Art, Graphics, Applied ICT, Geography and Applied additional science. I also started my B-Tec in engineering in 2006. It was, helpful, not so much fun! But ah well! What can you do really. It’s hard to believe this was nearly 4 years ago, to be honest. I’ve not regretted that decision though. I also went to the British International Motor show 2006. That was literally amazing.
2007 – What a year. I started following car-license plates in this year. From the ‘07 plates onwards. I don’t know why. Just found it fascinating. I also moved from year 10 to year 11 in this year. It was the beginning of the end for my GCSE life. I still hated college, with a passion, but as is life I got on with it. This year I got my bike too. It was a red, dual suspension one, I’ve barely used it. And, I got my first girlfriend this year. Susan. I had another too, Becca. They both were, a bit mental, but I wouldn’t have done anything differently.
2008 – This year really was the beginning of a different life. There are many different times I’ve known I’ve grown. Getting my GCSE’s is one of them. 2 A’s, 3 B’s, 5 C’s and a D. In February I went on a school trip, bringing me closer to those I wanted, and liked. And it brought me closer to friends, but tore me apart from others. I finished my mandatory life at Manor this year. We had Prom, and that was that. No more school. I also chose my subjects for 6th form. Sociology, Law, ICT and Psychology were my options. I liked it, at first but I didn’t know what was in store.
I went to my 2nd Motor show, the 2008 BIMs.
The best bit though, was gaining a best friend. One I could trust. Debs. I also got a laptop for Christmas 2008. I got money from 6th form, it served its uses. Mercenaries 2 came out after 3 years of waiting, impatiently. I met one girl, I almost fell for, and, well that was it. What an odd year. I was so wrapped up in myself though, and my own little world, I don’t really know what went on in the real world. Though, I did decide I wanted in on the Police.
2009 – Here it is. The best year of my life. I’ve always led a reasonably happy life. Even if as a ‘geek’. In January, me and Debbie had a day out in Nottingham never to be forgotten. In March, Mum and dad got their final new car of the decade, the Subaru. I dropped Psychology, after failing most of my A-levels. In July, I found a girl who has changed my life more than anyone, Megan. We’ve been going out since then. She’s pretty much is my life now. I got a blog, and did so much more. I’ve not regretted anything from 2009. I’d say, it’s the best year of my life so far. Who knows what 2010 has in store. We shall see, won’t we!
