IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE

Well, it's CHRISTMAS EVE! What an amazing day! I can't wait for tomorrow...I really can't. Megan gets to open my present, and I get to open hers. The family and I will have a nice day, and see lots of people. Good stuff :) I can't wait! Excited? Yes, I certainly think so!!

Nearly Christmas again!

It's nearly Christmas!! I've had a lot of fun this year. Since the 25th December 2008. It's been a good year.
Last night wasn't as good though. I overslept on the train and ended up stuck in Derbyshire for about an hour and a half...late at night...in the freezing cold temperatures. It was not fun at all! It was a terrible ending to an amazing day. But oh well...
On the bright side, I've given Megan her Christmas present...She'll find out what it is on Christmas day...I've been given mine too. No idea what they are, I'm sure we'll soon find out though, well, I hope anyway!

Nearly Christmas!!

Well, it's only day, and about 18 hours till Christmas! I can't wait!
Megan's present is also nearing completion; Finally! So, just got to hope I can finish it all in the next day or so, so I can give it her on Saturday. I'm also REALLY looking forward to seeing her again. This 2 weeks has been extremely hard. One of the hardest I've had in a long, long time...

Dell.

I was looking into new Laptops the other night, to replace my Acer. I've found quite a few reasonably decent refurbished laptops that are reasonably inexpensive.
My dad suggested I look into Dell's new Netbook. At a glance, I was impressed. It had a 160GB hard drive, and a decent processor. It also had Windows XP, which if you remember was a decent Operating System. I'm going to look into the whole Dell thing, hopefully, after Christmas has been, I might be able to afford one...Only time will tell!

Motivation...

This last week I've had a distinct lack of motivation. I don't really know why. I just can't be arsed with...well anything!
It's approaching Christmas, there's only 9 whole days left, 10 rounded up...The tree is up! Megan's present is getting along well, I see her again on Saturday (Horay!) and might see her on the Tuesday too.

People have been saying it's predicted to snow too...but I doubt it somehow.
Ahh well. I don't suppose it really matters if it does or not.

Recently I've been looking into refurbished Laptops too. I'm thinking about maybe getting a new one. Mine is, well not the best. I can't really be arsed with it anymore. Refurbs are low-cost and quite good too. I'll have to look into it!

Until I have any money though, I suppose I'll just have to wait, and make do with the Netbook I've got now...

MISSIONS

I’ve been handing out missions today.

On a site, Mystery Google, some randomer can see your message. So, I typed in “Your have a mission. Email me to receive your mission. <insert email here>.” And, well I got quite a few replies from people asking me what their mission was.

I gave them a few, from “Ring a random phone number from the phone-book and ask for Neil" all the way to “High five someone without them knowing!”

It was VERY fun!

Fact. II

1.) The real reason cat’s rub up against their owners leg is to cover their scent over you. This is because they are claiming you as their property.

2.) Ford’s best selling car/vehicle of all time was the Ford F-Series pick-up truck.

3.) Concorde was often not-allowed to become supersonic above inhabited land.

4.) In an average lifetime, a person will walk the equivalent of 5 times around the Earths equator.

5.) In the USA, every 5 miles of highway, 1 mile must be straight. This straight sections are to be used as run-ways in times of emergency.

6.) Every year, approximately 98% of the atoms in the human body are replaced.

7.) The youngest queen in the world was Mary Stuart, who became queen of Scotland at only 6 days old.

8.) If flying on Concorde from London to New York, due to time-zones it is possible to arrive 2 hours before you leave.

9.) Automatic cars usually get 2 mpg less that manual ones.

10.) The average person spends about 2 years of their life on the phone, and 22 years sleeping.

Tonight.

Well…Tonight I need something to do too. I might go for another walk. Take some photos etc…At least I’d be getting some exercise, and be able to collect more photos of the area around. I could go through Mansfield, go up on the side I rarely go on? We shall see!

Though, you won’t find out till later :)

Bored!

Well…I’m bored! It’s about quarter past 10 in the morning, I have 6th form in just over 2 hours, nothing to do till then, except wait…

I’m listening to music though! Might carry on working on Megan’s Christmas present soon…Might wait till later. Who knows?!

New games

I need a new video game…The ones I’ve got now are very good…But I’ve simply played them to death. I’ve finished Mercenaries 2 at least twice, now it’s just too easy. Fallout 3, I’ve finished that too, and believe me when you’ve done just about everything, and been just about everywhere…things tend to get a little bit tedious! Forza 2, well, I’ve done nearly every race, so what’s the point?
And of course, there are other games, they’re just…boring, now!

Oh well. I suppose I’ll just have to wait till Christmas, 18 days away!

The Weekend

I saw Megan at the weekend. I had an AMAZING time…It’s just such a shame I won’t get to see her for another 2 weeks now…Gonna hurt not seeing her it is.

Ah well! I’ll live won’t I :)

College, part 2?

After sending off my application form for college, I got a letter back today! Hurrah! Quick too. The letter said;
Thank you for applying for a full-time programme here at West Nottinghamshire College.
We will be inviting you to take part in the first stage of the interview process in the near future.”

Maybe Ill be able to go in the end? Or at least have the choice to!

Father is a Taxi driver, mother is a drunk.

Mum and Dad went out today. They later came back, after…God only knows how long. Dad, as it seems, had been ferrying about all of mum’s work colleges. Mum seems to have been drinking, bless her! She’s not an alcoholic though, as the title suggests! When she came home she seemed to have enjoyed singing Queen and other rather more festive songs.

I did record her, as a joke. Feel bad about it now…Might delete it, LOL…At least they enjoyed their night out. That’s the main thing!

Also, whilst home alone, hilarity sort of ensued. Someone had knocked the iron off. It had landed on the carpet. I noticed, mainly because it STANK of burning. Never good! Not what we need either. It melted the carpet a little. Oh well… :\

Also, I sort of kicked the door…I don’t know why, I was just messing about. It dinted the door slightly. Also, never good! Let’s hope the parents never notice! I really need to tell my mum and dad about this Saturday too. Sort of nervous…

Christmas Presents…

Okay, got the first part of Megan’s Christmas present today!
Hurrah…Lol…though it cost more than I was expecting, I don’t care :) At least I got it ready, I could tell you what it was, but, nah ;D

College…

I was looking into the Public Services College course again. I’ve found that a distinction in a NVQ level 2 Public Services course is worth 3 A*’s…

I think that more than makes up for the 2 years I spent at this terrible excuse for a learning facility called 6th form. Even though I admit, I also contributed to my own failure there. Should have asked for more help…

More sleep!

I need to be able to get more sleep at night! I don’t know why, but I can’t seem to drift off at night. It’s actually hell sometimes. But I seem always to have a certain girl on my mind…!

Oh please! Make it so I’m tired at night! My body clock is WRECKED!
Damn illness :(
